  • No worries! Calligraphy focuses on learning the basic strokes that form each letter regardless of your handwriting skills. With practice and guidance, anyone can create beautiful, stylized lettering!

  • Class materials and supplies will be given to you at the start of the workshop. You will use the same set of brush pens for all classes in the series, so please bring your brush pens with you to every session.

  • Absolutely! Each class is also available as a standalone workshop if you prefer a one-time experience. Check out the Workshops page for individual sessions.

  • Refunds are not available unless the class is cancelled by the instructor due to unforeseen circumstances.

Tickets can be transferred to another person up to 2 days before the workshop series begins.

If you miss one of the sessions, a refund will not be issued because spots and materials are reserved for the entire series. If the series is offered again later in the year, participants who miss a session may have the opportunity to attend a make-up class, based on availability.

  • Brush calligraphy is the art of writing that uses a brush pen which has a flexible tip to create thick and thin strokes for each letter. It is different from pointed pen calligraphy, which uses a traditional metal nib that is dipped into ink when writing.
